On 11th December 1927, Chinese Communists and revolutionary masses, to resist crazy persecution and slaughter from the Kuomintang reactionaries, under the leadership of the then Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee Zhang Tailei and Ye Ting, Ye Jianying, Su Zhaozheng, Nie Rongzhen, Xu Qianqian, launched the Guangzhou uprising. Because enemy was stronger, the uprising was eventually defeated. However the incomparable heroic fighting spirit of army and people in the event gave Chinese people new encouragement. Many of uprising leaders and the remaining armed forces continued to fight tough for Chinese revolutionary cause, becoming an important part of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and revolutionary kindling.
Cherishing the memory under green pines and cypresses and reflecting honor spirit with green hills and clear water
On 12th April, with the arrangement of the party Committee of 古天乐代言太阳集团, party and league members, 41 people in total, went to the Martyrs’Park of the Uprising in Guangzhou to hold an activity themed “Worship martyrs and study history of the Party”.
At the beginning of the ceremony, representatives of party and league members of the company presented wreaths to the revolutionary martyrs, and all staff mourned for a minute to express their deep condolence and high respect to the deceased martyrs. Afterwards, all the members bowed in memory of the revolutionary martyrs in front of the monument. Luo Jun, Party Secretary, led them to review the vow of joining the Party and strengthen their faith in the CPC.
History is the best textbook. We will, along the revolutionary martyr’s footsteps, continue to carry forward the great spirit of patriotism and loving party selflessly, to learn history of the party, of New Chinese, of the reform and opening-up, of socialist development, and to inherit and develop the party’s good tradition, so as to, with a more excellent performance, meet the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC.
